The Art of Serendipity
Simple Sparrow Dance Company seeks to make modern dance accessible for all audiences by merging the performance intent of postmodernism with the athleticism and solid technique of its classically trained dancers. Simple Sparrow’s official debut performance, The Art of Serendipity, featuring works from artistic director Jessica Rosenberger as well as guest choreographers Carla Rudiger and Lily Sloan, demonstrates the versatility of modern dance from organic, introspective movements to soaring leaps while constantly projecting the sheer joy of dance. The unique venue of The Stone Cottage encourages the audience to be intimately invested throughout the performance while limited seating allows each audience member to have a front row seat to experience The Art of Serendipity.
